Allen Organ Amp Needed:
I have a rescued 1958 Allen organ that I love and want to keep living. I especially need a tube amp. The one I have is 70 watt and I am looking for another to keep her singing. I am especially interested in old non-functioning or unwanted Allen organs as close to Murphy, NC as possible.

Allen Organ:
Annie Harlow, a member of the Western North Carolina Chapter AGO has a 1968 two manual, full pedal Allen Organ in her music classroom. This organ was created with both circuit boards and the old tubes. It receives power and can be turned off and on but does not play, probably the fault of the tubes.
The cost to even have a repair technician come through the door is more than the school wants to pay. Case Brothers, in Spartanburg, SC, has suggested, instead of repairing it for church or home use, it could be gutted and turned into a very functional desk. The organ is in a classroom at Mountain Discovery Charter School in Bryson City, NC, and is free to anyone who is willing to haul it away! Interested persons can contact .
